When we play Budapest gambit we try avoid closed pawn structure and open position immediately. Our idea is to get initiative in the early opening by pawn sacrifice and create unclear complicated position.
This gambit was first time played by Geza Marozy in a tournament in Budapest. That's the origin of his name!
