Hello and welcome to the Sicilian Kan course! I am Grandmaster Luka Budisavljevic, two-time World Juniors bronze medalist, two-time US Collegiate Champion, and experienced coach and author.
In this course I will teach you how to face 1.e4 with an uncompromising, dynamic, and surprising Kan Variation of the Sicilian Defense. Kan has been my pet line ever since my childhood, and has brought me many important wins.
Firstly, let's battle for the center by stopping d4 in the most asymmetrical manner, with 1...c5, showing our fighting spirits from move 1!
