Hello and welcome to the Sicilian Kan course! I am Grandmaster Luka Budisavljevic, two-time World Juniors bronze medalist, two-time US Collegiate Champion, and an experienced coach and author.
In this course I will teach you how to face 1.e4 with the uncompromising, dynamic, and surprising Kan Variation of the Sicilian Defense. The Kan has been my pet line ever since my childhood, and has brought me many important wins.
Firstly, let's battle for the center by stopping the pawn push to d4 in the most asymmetrical manner, with pawn to c5, showing our fighting spirit from move 1!
