French Defense | Chessreps Treinador de Aberturas

We are going to play the French Defense against e4, so let's play e6. The idea of the French Defense is to enforce d5, hitting the White e-pawn and challenging the central light squares. The main drawback of the French is that our light squared bishop is immediately blocked on the h3-c8 diagonal by the pawn on e6, so that bishop becomes the opening's "problem child".
