This opening is a rare case where giving up a pawn in the opening is objectively solid! (Evan's Gambit is +0.0 according to stockfish, for reference most gambits e.g. the kings gambit are -0.5) But the 0.0 eval is quite deceiving, because your opponent will have to fight tooth and nail to maintain an equal position, while you will be able to continue a brutal attack!
